North Country Healthcare (NCH)
cares about the well-being of our practitioners!!
In an effort to ensure our providers have access to resources to aid in their well-being, we have created this page with multiple resources. Further, medical staff and administrative leaders at all NCH facilities wish to hear from practitioners about what they are thinking and feeling and how we can help stabilize or enhance their well-being. We strongly encourage our providers to share concerns and provide suggestions of how NCH can help.
We also offer the Well-Being Index to our providers. Invented by the Mayo Clinic, the Well-Being Index is a 100% anonymous, online self-assessment that evaluates multiple dimensions of distress in just 9 questions. The tool then provides results that the individual can compare against national averages and their peers. Based on these results, the Well-Being Index also provides resources and next-steps for an improved well-being. It is a validated tool that has been used by more than 35,000 professionals. The first step of improved well-being is through regular assessment and self-awareness. With an improved sense of wellness and continued efforts to address the issue, individuals can be confident and get the assistance they may need.
Because burnout leads to adverse consequences that affect practitioners, healthcare employers and patients, the Well-Being Index is being offered FREE.
Check it out! Well-Being Index self-assessment is now available for FREE.
